on the APICS Edmonton Chapter Board of Directors:

Vice President of Marketing and Communication
Vice President of Membership
Vice President of Education
Elections will be held during the APICS Edmonton Chapter Annual General Meeting
June5, 2008

Fellow APICS Edmonton Chapter members,
The APICS Edmonton Chapter is accepting nominations for candidates in the following
5 positions on the APICS Edmonton Chapter Board of Directors:
President - Responsibilities include: Scheduling of BOD Meetings, leads process to select delegates to attend regional conferences, budget responsibility, provides support to other Board Members, liaise with APICS Canadian District (formerly known as Region VIII) staff
Vice President of Administration - Responsibilities include: Bylaws, chapter management and compliance with operating guidelines
Vice President of Marketing and Communication - Responsibilities include: Organizing plant tours, annual general meeting, guest speakers, professional development seminars
Vice President of Membership - Responsibilities include: Tracking and communication of membership information, speaks to potential new members, membership growth
Vice President of Education - Responsibilities include: Arranging instructors, classes, orders materials, administers exam process, liaison with NAIT
Successful nominees must be prepared to commit the time and energy needed to maintain an active and successful chapter and be willing to serve a minimum 2 year term. The estimated time commitment is four to six hours per month.
Nominations will be accepted up until deadline of midnight June 4 2008.
To become eligible candidates for election, nominees must be current members
of the APICS Edmonton Chapter.
